Haitian Support Connections (HSC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to empowering vulnerable communities in Haiti by expanding access to education, healthcare, and socio-economic opportunities. Founded by a dedicated team of professionals with deep roots and lived experience in Haiti, HSC brings together cultural insight, technical expertise, and an unwavering commitment to equity. Through locally driven, sustainable solutions, we aim to transform lives, strengthen communities, and build long-term resilience in the most underserved areas.
Our mission is to connect, empower, and support Haitian communities through strategic partnerships and community-driven programs that improve access to healthcare, education, and economic resilience.
Our vision is to create a resilient and self-reliant Haiti where families, particularly those residing in underserved communities, have the chance to live healthy, educated, and economically empowered lives.
Community-Centered: We listen to and work alongside communities to ensure their voices shape the solutions we implement.
Equity: We are committed to breaking down barriers so that every Haitian, regardless of background or circumstance, can thrive.
Integrity: We act with transparency, accountability, and respect in all of our partnerships and programs.
Collaboration: We believe in the power of partnerships, both local and global, to create lasting change.
Resilience: We support strength in the face of adversity and invest in long-term solutions that build sustainable futures.
We focus on three interconnected areas that address urgent needs and support long-term resilience:
Education Access
We remove barriers to learning by covering tuition, supporting schools, and empowering students from early childhood through secondary education.
Healthcare Equity
We deliver lifesaving care and prevention services, strengthen local health systems, and improve access to maternal, child, and trauma care.
Economic Empowerment
We promote financial independence through vocational training, microenterprise support, and income-generating initiatives, especially for women and families.
